Department of Biomedical Sciences - DSB

The Department of Biomedical Sciences is located in the multi-departmental complex Vallisneri, viale Giuseppe Colombo 3, Padova. The scientific activity of the Department of Biomedical Sciences is carried out in collaboration with numerous national and international institutions.

The research carried out in the Department focuses on different and complementary aspects of cellular and molecular biology, physiology, molecular pathology and experimental pharmacology with implications for genetic and degenerative diseases, inflammatory processes and neoplasms. The scientific activity carried out in the Department is financed by institutional funds (MIUR, CNR, A.S.I.), by the European Community, by private foundations (AIRC, Telethon, etc.), by international institutions (NIH, HSF) and by private companies.
