
Erasmus+ for Studies & SEMP
Erasmus+ for Studies includes 2 sub-actions, based on the countries involved:
- KA103: Erasmus+ for Studies with Programme Countries, i.e. the EU Member States, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, North Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey and United Kingdom.- information sheet
- KA107: Erasmus+ for Studies with Partner Countries (ICM - International Credit Mobility), i.e. all the other countries in the world - information sheet
Erasmus+ for studies within the EU as well as outside of Europe is part of the EU Erasmus+ Programme.
Students from Switzerland can join SEMP - Swiss Exchange Mobility Programme.
Incoming students within the framework of Coimbra Group Student Exchange Network are required to follow the same procedures as Erasmus+ for Studies incoming students.
Bilateral agreements are required for the students’ mobility to take place: please check the list of bilateral agreements currently in place between the University of Padova and other HEIs.

Nominations and applications
International candidates willing to come to Padova for an exchange period under Erasmus+ for Studies, shall apply at their home institution.
Official nominations are to be sent through our online form (click on Erasmus student - Partner nomination) by your home Universities.
The form is available:
- from 11th March to 30th April for first semester and whole academic year
- from 3rd August to 30th September for second semester
The Mobility Unit will check the information provided. Should any clarification be required, the Mobility Unit will contact the respective home institutions.
As soon as your nomination is accepted, your name will be published on the "Provisional List of Accepted Students". Then you can follow the procedure described on "Before your arrival", which includes application and accommodation according to the following deadlines:
- Application: from 15th April to 15th June
- Accommodation: from 15th May to 30th June
- Application: from 16th September to 30th November
- Accommodation: from 16th September to 15th November
Italian language courses
The CLA - Centro Linguistico di Ateneo promotes, organizes and offers Italian language courses for foreign students, researchers and professors. The courses cover levels A1 to C2 of the Council of Europe’s Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Registered students and lecturers are free to use the multimedia facilities and the language laboratory for self-learning; they can also have access to audiovisual and computerized resources.
