Department of Industrial Engineering - DII

The Department promotes and manages scientific and technological research projects in all fields of industrial engineering, including aerospace engineering, chemical and process engineering, electrical engineering, energy and materials engineering and mechanical engineering, as well as industrial technology transfer initiatives. All the activities of the Department aim to achieve international levels of excellence in research thanks to an interdisciplinary approach. International cooperation with the best universities and research centres is actively promoted. The Department is also responsible for teaching activities for bachelor's and master's degrees and PhDs, covering all curricula in industrial engineering related to the aforementioned research areas. An increasing number of courses are taught in English in order to facilitate the access of foreign students.
