The Learning Agreement is an agreement between the student, the home university and the host university, which defines the courses and activities that will be completed during the mobility period. The Learning Agreement also ensures that credits acquired abroad are recognized by the home university.
For thesis and PhDs abroad, the letter of approval of the Supervisor or Academic Tutor of Padova must be attached to the Learning Agreement in Uniweb.
Students are required to fill in the Learning Agreement / Digital Learning Agreement Before the mobility in Uniweb before the start of the mobility.
In order to sign the grant agreement, mandatory before departure, the LA / DLA must necessarily be approved in Uniweb by the Unipd academic coordinator in charge.
Please always pay close attention to the deadlines set by the partner university.
The mobility can last from 2 to 12 months(depending on the chosen destination) and can be carried out from 1 July 2026 until 30 September 2027 based on the availability of the partner institutions.
From a financial point of view, the agreements can be funded by the University or the Departments.
University-wide agreements include scholarships and flat-rate reimbursement of travel expenses by the University.
Department-wide agreements may include:
- scholarships and flat-rate reimbursement of travel expenses from University funds (maximum 2 per Department);
- funding by the Department;
- expenses to be borne by students.
Agreements that include both places with and without a scholarship, or with different types of scholarships, are announced separately. The type of funding for each destination and the reference courses of study are specified in the forms on the Destinations portal.
Student mobility in non-EU countries is also promoted within the Erasmus+ Programme, through the "Erasmus Call for Applications". This call allows you to apply for a period of mobility up to a maximum of 12 months for each cycle of study (1st cycle :bachelor degree, 2nd cycle: master's degree, 3rd cycle: PhD). The student receives a financial contribution, has the opportunity to follow courses and to use the facilities available at the host institution without additional tuition fees. It also has the guarantee of full recognition of training activities undertaken abroad (with a positive outcome), provided that they are approved in the Learning Agreement.
