Department of Management and Engineering - DTG

The Department of Industrial Systems Technology and Management was created to develop and coordinate teaching, research and technology transfer activities in the multidisciplinary fields of Management Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering for Product Innovation and, more recently, Food Industry Engineering.

 The Department of Industrial Systems Technology and Management is the only department of the University of Padova that carries out all its activities outside the province of Padova. The Department is in fact campused in the city of Vicenza, where a University campus has been developed able to offer all the necessary services to students and teachers: from classrooms equipped with the most advanced infrastructures for innovative teaching to modern research laboratories, open to collaboration with local, national and international industrial realities. 

Today the Department of Technology and Management of Industrial Systems hosts three first-cycle/Bachelor's degree courses, four second-cycle/master's degree courses and two PhD courses, capable of attracting international students looking for innovative training courses, constantly aligned both with the needs of the production system and with the most recent international research trends in the many fields of industrial and information engineering in which the Department operates.
