Department of Mathematics - DM

The Department stands out for its well established  tradition of excellence in research and education across pure mathematics, applied mathematics, and computer science. It offers comprehensive bachelor’s and master’s degree programs designed to equip students with strong theoretical
foundations and applied skills.
What defines the Department is the breadth of expertise within its academic community. Its faculty collectively cover a really wide spectrum of disciplines both in abstract theoretical fields and in applied ones as well as core and emerging areas of computer science.
In collaboration with leading Italian and international universities, the Department also hosts international Master  and PhD programs in pure and applied mathematics and computer science, fostering advanced research at the highest level.
