Department of Political Science, Law, and International Studies - SPGI

The Department is the result of the merger of the Department of Comparative Law, the Department of International Studies, the Department of Historical and Political Studies and a group of professors from the Department of Sociology.

It aims to safeguard some fundamental aspects of the scientific and didactic reality of the Italian university and to offer a cultural and didactic project that presents important new features and that is able to establish itself with authority and effectiveness in  the national and international arena, through studies in the fields of law, philosophy, languages, political science, of sociology, of history.

The Department is based on the important scientific and educational heritage inherited from the Faculty of Political Science. It manages numerous bachelor's and master's degree programs, as well as postgraduate training facilities (PhDs, masters, etc.).
