Department of Surgery, Oncology and Gastroenterology - DiSCOG

The main objective of this new department is to integrate clinical and basic research with course units in undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The lines of clinical and preclinical research are shared between the various units of the Department, which are usually involved in the diagnostic and therapeutic management of patients at the University Hospital of Padova.

The Department has as its main research activities and course units: surgery (oncology, abdominal transplants, geriatrics, endocrinology, urology, orthopedics), oncology and immunology, gastroenterology.
