Department of Cultural Heritage: Archaeology, History of Art, Film and Music - DBC

The Department promotes the development of skills that allow a deeper knowledge of the complexity of the Italian cultural heritage and of all forms of interaction with disciplinary areas related to similar research contexts.

The Department therefore promotes scientific, technological and IT skills for the study, protection, conservation, restoration and enhancement of cultural heritage in order to make this vast cultural "asset" correctly known and appreciated.

Another objective is to develop lines of research in an international perspective in order to fully exploit the resources thanks to the collaboration with other institutions in Italy. The course unit is based on the concept of cultural heritage as the highest expression of societies, both past and present.
