Department of Pharmaceutical and Pharmacological Sciences - DSF
The new Department was born from the merger of the previous Department of Pharmaceutical and Pharmacological Sciences, which have always represented the reference structures for research and the course unit focused on the world of medicine.
The core disciplines are pharmaceutical chemistry and technology, pharmacology and toxicology, complemented by solid expertise in chemistry, biochemistry and cell biology, as well as pharmaceuticals and medical bio/nanotechnology. The staff includes 60 researchers and professors, over 40 technicians and about 100 young researchers in training, including PhD and post-doctoral students; In addition to these, the research laboratories also allow to accommodate more than 100 undergraduates for the experimental work of dissertations.
