
EduChef for Unipd Staff
Since 2021, the University of Padua has been offering the EduChef project not only to students but also to university staff, with the aim of promoting healthy lifestyles and responsible consumption habits among staff members as well.
The project stands out for its strong focus on sustainability, offering affordable recipes that minimize food waste, encourage the reuse of scraps, and have a low environmental impact. This initiative is part of the university’s broader policy framework—launched in 2016—aimed at promoting well-being and education on sustainability in all its forms.
Educhef for staff 2024
Now in its fourth edition, the project was carried out in collaboration with Confcommercio Ascom Padova, Fairtrade Italia, Molino Rossetto SpA, Ascom Padova S.p.A. – Academy of Food Arts and Crafts, Coop Alleanza 3.0 s.c., and Fairtrade Italia s.c.
Four sessions were held between October and November 2024, each dedicated to a different theme: appetizers and finger food, first courses, main courses, and desserts.
Additionally, two evening sessions were held on Zoom to explore the topics: "Nutrition and Health" and "The Right Temperatures for Healthy Food."
