There are about 14,000 Unipd graduates who are preparing to face the world of work with confidence every year. Already 1 year after graduation , the employment rate is over 84% (Almalaurea data).
5 years after graduating , 94.9% of those who study at Unipd find a job, and of this percentage almost 6 out of 10 people sign a permanent contract.
Out of 10 people graduated in Padova, on average 3 have a permanent job, almost as many a fixed-term job, while 1 is engaged in a self-employed activity, such as freelancer or entrepreneurship. And the vast majority of people do what they studied for or feel that their training and degree have been useful for the work they do.
These numbers are the result of a network of job placement and career guidance services, and of particular attention to the demands of the world of work.
We organize many opportunities for direct contact with companies, training moments to develop transversal skills and to learn how to write your own course track.
And we offer the opportunity to do internships: 60% of graduates with us have carried out internships recognized by their course of study.
All this, combined with quality teaching, makes us occupy the podium of Italian universities in terms of employability rate.
THE MASTER'S DEGREE GIVES YOU EVEN MORE CHANCES
According to AlmaLaurea, choosing to continue your studies after the first 3 years will allow you to have even greater satisfaction from a work point of view, including economically. If, therefore, you have not already opted for a single-cycle master's degree course (such as medicine or law), your course of study after graduation can continue with a Second-cycle/Master's degree course.
