Each year, almost 17,000 Unipd graduates prepare to enter the world of work with confidence. Already 1 year after graduation, the employment rate is over 84% (Almalaurea data).
5 years after completing a master’s degree, 94.9% of those who study at Unipd find work, and of this percentage, almost 6 in 10 sign a permanent contract.
Out of 10 people graduating from Padua, on average 3 have permanent employed work, almost as many have fixed-term work, while 1 is engaged in self-employment, such as freelance work or entrepreneurship. And the great majority of people do the work they studied for or believe that their education and qualification have been useful for the work they do.
These figures are the result of a network of job placement and careers guidance services, and of particular attention to the needs of the world of work.
We organise many opportunities for direct contact with companies, training sessions to develop transferable skills and to learn how to write your CV.
And we offer the opportunity to do internships and placements: 60% of our graduates have completed placements recognised by their degree course.
All this, combined with high-quality teaching, places us among the top Italian universities for graduate employability.
According to AlmaLaurea, choosing to continue your studies after the first 3 years will allow you to achieve even greater satisfaction from an employment perspective, including financially. Therefore, if you have not already opted for a single-cycle Master's Degree Programme (such as medicine or law), your course of study after graduation can continue with a Master's Degree Programme.
