The Welcome Days, welcome events dedicated to students arriving at the University of Padua through international mobility programmes (Erasmus+ for Studies, SEN Coimbra Group, Swiss European Mobility Programme, Arqus Alliance Mobility Programme, Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree, Bilateral Agreements, Double & Joint Degrees), are scheduled to start from 8 September.
During the Welcome Days, which take place at the beginning of each semester, international students have the opportunity to take part both in information sessions and in social events.
The first three events on the calendar are online webinars:
8 September at 11 a.m. - How to get familiar with teaching tools
10 September at 11 a.m. - How to register your arrival and use Unipd services
11 September (time to be confirmed) - Meet the University Language Centre (CLA)
From 14 to 18 September, meanwhile, school and department meetings are scheduled, including attendance at the Mobility Desk meeting to which each international student has been assigned: an opportunity to get to know the new study environment and understand its methodologies and teaching activities.
On 24 September 2026, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., the University of Padua welcomes new international students during the Welcome Fair: a unique opportunity to meet other students from all over the world and spend an evening together before the start of the semester.
It is also possible to take part in guided tours through some of the most interesting corners of the city, and discover how closely connected the University and the city of Padua are.
