Get to know and join the Unipd community with the Welcome Days

During the Welcome Days, which take place at the beginning of each semester, you have the opportunity to take part both in the information sessions, which are held exclusively online (Italian time), and in the social events, which are held online or in person
You will receive by email the links to access the online sessions and to register for the in-person events. The recordings of the webinars are available on the Mediaspace channel, and the presentations in the dedicated Drive space (the link will be sent to you).

The events are organised by the Projects and Mobility Office of the International Relations Area of the University of Padua.

The Welcome Days for the first semester 2026/2027

From 8 September to 4 October 2026

You can consult the academic calendar online and find information about the timetable of classes and when they begin.
The start date of classes is available approximately two or three weeks before the start of the semester, as it may be brought forward to the week before the official start of the semester, or postponed to the following week.

The webinars take place exclusively online, on Zoom. You will receive the link to connect by email.

You can join the webinars wherever you are: you do not need to be physically in Padua in order to take part.

  • 8 September at 11:00 - “How to become familiar with the teaching tools”: how to use our online platforms, so that you can make the most of all the tools needed to attend classes and to register for courses and exams;
  • 10 September at 11:00 - “How to register your arrival and use Unipd services”: we will discuss arrival procedures (including how to collect your badge and receive the Certificate of Arrival), we will present the services offered by Unipd and provide information on everyday and university life in Padua. Everything you need to know to make the most of your mobility period and take advantage of all the opportunities available.
  • 11 September (time to be confirmed) -  “Meet the University Language Centre (CLA)”: how to enrol in the Italian language course, and all the other opportunities offered by the University Language Centre.

You will need to attend the Mobility Desk meeting to which you have been assigned: this is an opportunity to become familiar with the new study context and to understand its methodologies and teaching activities.

If you attend courses offered by schools or departments other than those of the Mobility Desk to which you have been assigned, you will also need to attend the online meeting of that school or department.

All meetings take place exclusively online, on Zoom (you will receive the meeting link by email).

You can also join online from outside Italy, and therefore it is not necessary to be physically in Padua in order to take part.
