Libraries
We provide students and all staff with a very extensive bibliographic and information heritage. It can be consulted through the University Library System: in its many libraries and, in part, also online, through the Digital Library and Phaidra.
Our libraries are open to everyone, including those who are not part of Unipd.

Across the streets of Padua’s pedestrian city centre, in the university district par excellence (the Portello) and in the hospital area, the University’s facilities and their libraries are spread out. But you can also find Unipd libraries and affiliated libraries in the city, as well as in Agripolis, Vicenza, Rovigo and Treviso

GalileoDiscovery is the tool that allows you to find all its resources with a single search, both in print and electronic format. Starting from a single interface, it enables simultaneous searching of the University’s collections and of the libraries participating in the Sistema Bibliotecario Padovano, and also integrates the records of Padua Research Archive and Research Data Unipd.
Book your seat with the Affluences app

With the Affluences app, you can check the real-time occupancy rate of the University's libraries and book a seat at the library of your choice. If you are visiting a library for the first time, you can find directions to help you get there. You can also view opening hours and the latest library notices.
