Wellbeing and sport for students
As an athlete and a Unipd student, you have the opportunity to join the dual career programme, enabling you to balance your university studies with high-level sporting performance. The call for applications for the academic year 2026/27 is now online.
Sport and wellbeing
We promote and develop wellbeing and sport initiatives and projects for the entire student community, with the aim of improving physical health and encouraging forms of social interaction that support psychological wellbeing and relationships.
Our students have the opportunity to take part in major national and international university sporting events, interdisciplinary sports groups, cookery courses, initiatives aimed at improving sleep quality, and to access services and special offers for psychological and physical wellbeing, as well as the activities of the Centro Universitario Sportivo (CUS Padova).
As a University, we offer various psychological, psychiatric and general wellbeing support services to both our students and all our staff.
For some time, we have been committed to promoting equal opportunities and the wellbeing of staff and students, with particular attention to combating harassment, discrimination and gender-based violence, as well as violence against all minorities.
