Advanced Course (T4L2)

The Advanced Course (T4L2) involves attending a number of compulsory and elective workshops, to be completed within 18 months of the first workshop attended, to delve into innovative teaching topics hinted at during the New Faculty and Basic Course (T4L1).

The course is formulated as follows:

Mandatory Workshops to be conducted in-person or online on the foundational themes of Active Learning

Choice Workshops to be selected from those offered

Peer Observation: also to be carried out concurrently with the period of participation in the different Workshops

Upon reaching 18 hours of attended workshops (including the compulsory ones) and with the conclusion of the Peer Observation activity, it will be possible to obtain the Open Badge T4L2 (Advanced)

Course content:

  • participatory methods to promote learning;
  • the relationship between teachers and students/students
  • design and management of feedback and assessment processes
  • peer observation and feedback management among colleagues including microteaching activities
  • design and development of educational coaching tools to collaborate with colleagues and peers
  • instructional design
  • new technological tools to be integrated into teaching

Who is it addressed to?

Full Professors, Associate Professors and Permanent Researchers, RTDAs, RTDBs who have already attended the New Faculty and Basic Course (T4L1).
