Catalogue courses for lifelong learning
For companies and for those enrolled in professional registers
Lifelong learning courses are offered by departments and University Centres and are intended mainly (but not exclusively) for those with previous work experience. They provide in-depth study of specific topics, professional updating, the presentation of new technologies, both instrumental and educational, and the study and application of new methods. At the end, a final assessment may be предусмотрена.
To encourage participation both by people already in employment and by those temporarily out of work, the courses have a flexible and modular timetable structure.
The courses are aimed at companies or individual participants.
For companies: the courses can be purchased as a package, with the company bearing the full cost of the course and having the possibility to define and tailor the content, schedules and participants.
For individual participants: it is possible to enrol in several lifelong learning courses or in other University courses.
Certificate: participants who have met the minimum attendance requirements will be issued with a declaration of attendance. If they pass the final assessment, where предусмотрена, they will be issued with a certificate of attendance indicating the examination taken and the educational activities attended.
As the University intends to offer companies and professionals a range of training opportunities organised in a course catalogue, lifelong learning courses are also referred to as Catalogue Courses.
