Aims: Professional updating and training for the implementation of best practices and the assessment of animal welfare. The course is structured to facilitate the acquisition of an interdisciplinary view of animal welfare, also including Problem solving techniques and the Ethical review process.
The course enables participants to deepen the following professional skills:
- skills in Animal Welfare Assessment and the development of management assessment protocols
- skills in Animal Welfare Management and the development of management protocols in the field of wild animals in a controlled environment
- skills in decision making and problem solving in the field of the Ethical Review Process and Animal Welfare Ethics
Target participants: Veterinary medicine, Life Science, Animal Science and Human Science Degrees
Teaching methods: Lectures, laboratory work, Pratical Experiences
