The University during the holiday season: special initiatives, openings, and administrative closures

Educational and training activities are suspended during the holiday season from Thursday, December 23, 2021, to Friday, January 7, 2022.

From December 24, 2021, and January 9, 2022, all University Administrative Offices, General Switchboard (049.827.5111), Call Center (049.827.3131) and the Public Relations Office is closed.

The holiday season welcomes visitors to Palazzo Bo to enjoy the "Palazzo Bo and Gio Ponti’ guided tours from December 27, 2021, to January 9, 2022. Tours are suspended on December 24, 25, 26, 31 and January 1st. The Guided Tour Reservation Center (049 827 3939) adheres to the same openings and closings.

During the holiday season, the University Botanical Garden remains open from 10 am to 5 pm (last admission at 4:15 pm). Exceptions include December 24 and 31 with openings from 10 am to 2 pm (last admission at 1:15 pm) and closures on December 25 and 27 as well as January 1.

The Unipd Store of Palazzo Bo remains open from 9 am to 6 pm until December 23 (except for Saturdays, Sundays and on December 25 and January 1). Customers enjoy a 20% discount at the store and online when visiting the unipdstore.it website. The shop is closed to the public from December 24, 2021, to January 9, 2022. The UniPD Shop at the Botanical Garden follows the opening hours and days of the Garden.

During Christmas holidays, including January 1st, visits to the Poleni Museum are free, with no reservation required; the museum opens during all holidays, except for December 25 and 26. The other museums of the Centro di Ateneo per i Musei (CAM) close on December 23 and reopen on January 10.

Throughout December, the Asiago Astronomical Hub offers initiatives for the public to enjoy and observe the stars, planets, the space station plus much more alongside experts!

In celebration of the holiday season, from December 8 to January 6, the Municipality of Padua offers free admission to UniPD students and residents to Palazzo della Ragione, Civic Museums, and Palazzo Zuckermann.
