Libraries
We provide students and Unipd staff with a vast bibliographic and information heritage consisting of more than 1,500,000 volumes, 620,000 years of paper periodicals, over 61,000 scientific journals in free or paid electronic format, more than 160,000 electronic books, 770 disciplinary databases and other multimedia products.
This important information and documentary heritage is made accessible by the libraries and the digital library that make up the University Library System.
The University Library System also offers real-time updates on Unipd libraries: the Affluences app allows you to view at any time the percentage of occupancy of the study places available in each library of the University of Padua; It offers information on schedules, localization, news.
You can have off-campus access to the electronic resources available in the University network thanks to eduVPN: thanks to this institutional service you can consult e-books, magazines and databases, from home and abroad, as if you were connected to the Unipd network. Download the eduVPN app and set it up with your institutional credentials. The process is quick and easy, allowing you to connect in just a few clicks wherever you are.
The University's libraries are also open to those who are not part of the Unipd community, but are interested in consulting texts kept in our libraries.
