Unipd Offers 137 Master's Programs for the upcoming academic year
06.05.2025
For the 2025–2026 academic year, the University of Padua is offering 137 master's programs (56 first-level and 81 second-level), including 32 newly activated courses and 105 renewals, continuing its growth trend. The number of enrolled students has also seen steady and substantial growth, rising from 1,283 in 2019 to 2,935 in 2024, marking a 130% increase.
According to the latest survey by AlmaLaurea, 86.2% of participants who complete these programs say they would choose the same or another master's at Unipd again.
The University also continues its participation in the “PA 110 e lode” agreement—an initiative aimed at enhancing the knowledge and skills of public administration staff—with 26 master's programs and 122 enrollees in 2023–2024, and 67 master's programs and 407 enrollees projected for 2024–2025.
As for advanced training courses, there are 27 offerings this year, including 8 new activations and 19 renewals, showing a slight increase over the previous year.
“These growing numbers reflect our commitment to multidisciplinarity in our educational offerings, which are increasingly diversified and aligned with the needs of local communities, the labor market, and society at large,” commented Marta Ghisi, delegate for master’s and advanced training courses. “These results are the outcome of the skilled and passionate work of our course directors, instructors, and the crucial support of the post-graduate office. One particularly important point: 61.3% of students enrolled in Unipd master's programs have parents without a university degree. This demonstrates a positive trend of social and cultural mobility, which we hope to see continue to strengthen over time.”
Applications for both master's and advanced training courses can be submitted during two pre-enrollment periods: by October 7, 2025 (first round) and by November 24, 2025 (second round). Courses will begin between November 14 and December 13, 2025.
All admission notices and documentation are available on the Unipd website.
In addition, several specialization schools will be activated:
- 56 in the healthcare field (48 in medical areas and 8 in non-medical fields) for the 2024–2025 cohort;
- 5 in psychology (43 total spots)
- 2 in cultural heritage (35 total spots);
- 1 in REACH (50 spots);
- 1 in veterinary medicine (40 spots) for the 2025–2026 cohort.
The number of places in medical specialization schools is determined at the national level. For the 2023–2024 cohort, a total of 772 positions were made available.
