26.08.2021

More great news for the University of Padua from the international ranking agency NTU Ranking as it ranks number 99 globally and first in Italy. NTU Ranking (National Taiwan University) certifies the productivity and quality of scientific production, based on indicators measuring scientific papers published by university professors and researchers under different fields and subjects.

This news comes just days from the publication of the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU), conducted by one of the most accredited international rating agencies for the evaluation of universities and research institutions, Shanghai Ranking Consultancy. Where, among two thousand universities worldwide, the University of Padua rose between the range of 151st and 200th place globally. With top rankings at the national level for La Sapienza, the University of Milan, and the University of Pisa.

University of Padua Rector Rosario Rizzuto states “More excellent result for our University, which rewards the work of our scientific community. They are different rankings, but with one trait in common: the continual growth of the University. This ranking, once again is a testament to our tenacious commitment to science, as an indispensable vocation of our university, and as a solid anchor of a community that looks towards the future with confidence. A great sign for a university that will soon celebrate 800 years of history.”
