Other resources and opportunities to study abroad
Bilateral Agreements for students and Unipd table and ECTS tables
Students have the opportunity to attend courses at partner universities of the University for a period of three to five months or for an entire academic year. They can obtain recognition for the exams taken and the educational activities carried out abroad, as agreed upon before departure.
Partial reimbursement of travel and/or living expenses is usually provided. The mobility related to bilateral agreements takes place within the framework of the Ulisse Program.
The University of Padua has also joined the Swiss European Mobility Programme with specific agreements that provide for the mobility of its students to Swiss universities.
International study programs
The University of Padua offers international study programs defined and organized in collaboration with one or more foreign institutions. These programs include a substantial period of attendance at the foreign institution, either following or preceding a period of study at the University of Padua.
Upon completion of the international study program, students will obtain either a double degree (Double degree: two or more national degrees awarded by the involved universities) or a joint degree (Joint degree: jointly awarded by two or more of the partner institutions), depending on the different national regulations and agreements with the foreign partner institutions.
Top Industrial Managers for Europe (T.I.M.E.)
The project gives engineering students the opportunity to attend a prestigious second-cycle degree programme (Master's degree) at one of the consortium's universities abroad.
The project consists of integrated learning paths lasting at least five semesters (minimum three at the receiving university abroad and minimum one in Padua) and provides you with 60 ECTS credits to be added to the standard number required for a Master's degree: you are therefore required to extend the overall duration of your studies by at least one semester.
Upon successful completion of the study programme, you are awarded a double degree by the University of Padua and the University abroad and counted among TIME graduates.

Mobility Fair
Why is it important to have an academic experience abroad? What international mobility opportunities does the University of Padua offer? Can a period of study abroad truly be life-changing?
To answer these and other questions, the University’s Mobility sector has organized the Mobility Fair 2024 on December 6 at Palazzo del Bo, an event dedicated to all students of the University of Padua who wish to embark on a mobility experience.
Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation awards scholarships
Every year, the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation awards scholarships for studying in Italy to both international students and Italian students who are permanent residents in countries other than Italy (IRE).
The aim of these scholarships is to foster international cultural cooperation, spread the knowledge of the Italian language, culture and science, as well as promote the Italian economic and technological system throughout the world. Grants are offered to pursue study, training, and/or research programs at Italian Higher Education Institutes, both public and legally recognised.
Buddy4YOUrope Project
Every year the University of Padua welcomes almost 2000 students participating in mobility programmes at our university.
The first period in a new city is the most difficult for those arriving from abroad: you have to familiarise yourself with a new academic environment, a culture and language different from your own.
Hence the "Buddy4YOUrope" project, in collaboration with ESN Padua, which gives Unipd students the opportunity to become a volunteer "buddy" and be a point of reference in Padua for those on Erasmus mobility.
Buddy4YOUrope is a voluntary activity for which no financial compensation is provided.
Unlike the "Tutor Buddy" activity, which is part of the Tutoring initiatives already proposed by our University for several years, this project is open to everyone, including students enrolled in Bachelor’s degree courses.
