Eight researchers from Padua among the Highly Cited Researchers 2025

There are eight researchers included among the “Highly Cited Researchers 2025," the ranking by Clarivate Analytics which independently manages the ISI (Institute for Scientific Information) Web of Science. Their databases collect and process metadata from scientific publications, thereby identifying the scientists who have distinguished themselves most at an international level in all fields of research.
Due to their respective studies and publications over the past ten years, the mentions went to: Cristina Basso, professor of Pathological Anatomy at the University of Padua and director of the UOC of Cardiovascular Pathology at the Hospital - University of Padua; Michelangelo Cordenonsi, professor of Histology and Embryology and Molecular Biology of Tissues at the University of Padua; Ioana Cristea, professor of Clinical Psychology and Evidence-Based Psychological Interventions at the University of Padua; Michele De Bastiani, for his research activity in Materials Science Chemistry Energy Fuels Science Technology - Other Topics Physics; Antonella Muraro, professor at the University of Padua and for her research activity in Cell Biology, Biochemistr Molecular Biology, Science Technology - Other Topics, Oncology, Endocrinology Metabolism; Stefano Piccolo, professor of Molecular Biology at the University of Padua; Marco Sandri, professor of General Pathology and Pathophysiology at the University of Padua; Silvio Tosatto, professor of Bioinformatics at the University of Padua.
