The University of Padova ranks second among Italian universities in the CWUR ranking

According to the new evaluation of the Center for World University Rankings - CWUR 2019/2020, the University of Padua ranks second in Italy (after the University of Rome La Sapienza) and has placed in the 160th place in the world.

On the basis of specific factors (quality of teaching, alumni employment, quality of faculty, research output, high-quality publications, influence and citations), the CWUR has considered, this year, around 20 thousand universities in the word and, among these, has identified the best 2 thousand universities. Of these, 66 are Italian.
At the top of the international rankings is the University of Harvard, the second is the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the third is Stanford University.
