The University of Padua stands out as a key player at the International Virtual Exchange Conference (IVEC 2025), the world's leading event dedicated to Virtual Exchange, held at the Hellenic Mediterranean University from 15th to 17th October 2025. This prestigious conference brings together experts and academics from around the globe to discuss and share the latest innovations in the field of virtual exchanges.
The delegation from the University of Padua participates in the event with a series of significant contributions, reflecting the University's commitment to promoting innovative teaching methodologies, sustainability, and global citizenship through Virtual Exchange.
Among the contributions presented, the following stand out:
- Poster presentation on the Erasmus+ project "CVEinAI – Critical Virtual Exchange in Artificial Intelligence". Coordinated by the Projects and Mobility Office, this project explores the integration of virtual exchanges within the field of artificial intelligence, promoting a critical and intercultural perspective.
- Poster presentation "Arqus MoVEs: Empowering Global Citizenship through Virtual Exchange". This initiative, coordinated by the Projects and Mobility Office and supported by Lisa Griggio as a facilitator, aims to enhance global citizenship through virtual exchanges, valuing intercultural education.
- Poster "Transforming Business Education: A Virtual Exchange Model for Advancing Sustainability and Global Citizenship". Coordinated by Alessandra Tognazzo from the Department of Economics and Business Sciences (DSEA), this project proposes a virtual exchange model to transform business education, advancing sustainability and global citizenship.
- Poster "Enhancing Sustainability Education in Veterinary Medicine through Virtual Exchange and Problem-Based Learning". Rudi Cassini and Giorgio Marchesini from the Department of Animal Medicine, Production and Health (MAPS) coordinate this project, which aims to improve sustainability education in veterinary medicine through virtual exchanges and problem-based learning.
- Workshop "Enhancing Cross-Disciplinary Virtual Exchange through Intercultural Competence". This workshop aims to foster cross-disciplinary exchanges enriched by intercultural competence, promoting greater understanding and collaboration across different disciplines.
