The University of Padua observes the tradition of the Giustinianea Festival by suspending all educational activities on Monday 12 June.  Moreover, Unipd extends the long weekend by suspending all educational activities to celebrate the city’s patron saint, Saint Antony of Padua on Tuesday 13 June. Although University offices are closed, several study rooms and some university libraries will remain open throughout the long weekend with variation in their respective hours of operation.

Those in Padua on the 9 and 10 of June can enjoy the Grand Tour of the Sciences by taking advantage of a single ticket. Visit any one of the many UniPD landmarks and sites, including Palazzo Bo with its Anatomical Theatre and the podium used by Galileo.  Walk through the oldest university Botanical Garden in the world, a UNESCO heritage site. Gaze up at the Hall of the Giants with its majestic cycle of frescoes.
