The right to an education: the Unipd economic aid for 2021-2022

08.06.2021

The right to an education: The University of Padua renews its economic commitment that allows students to study with peace of mind and without fears for the future.

Not only will Unipd guarantee scholarships to eligible students by integrating regional and government funding, but it has also implemented various actions to support the student community.

With tuition fees up to 2,945 euros per year, the University offers a complete exemption to those whose economic status falls between 20,000 and 24,000 euros on the ISEE (Equivalent Economic Status Index) certification index for the 2021-2022 academic year.

This exemption is in addition to the governmental exemptions currently active for those with an ISEE certification status of 20,000 euros. The first instalment of tuition dues totalling 569 euros is now drastically reduced to 189 euros. The remaining fee is to be paid in two installments at the beginning of the second semester.

Additionally, Unipd supports first-year students and currently enrolled students by providing a SIM card (60BG per month) and a 4G WiFi modem for the entire academic year. All students enjoy a discounted price on notebooks and tablets thanks to agreements with affiliated retailers. This year the University offers a discount bonus worth 100 euros to support the costs of books.

Throughout their academic career, motivated and creative students may choose to compete for extra financial aid and special scholarships, including cash grants or tuition exemption for one or more years.
