Even Science Suffers from Stereotypes

Meeting with journalist Angela SainiTuesday 16 April at 6:00 pm in the Aula Magna of Palazzo Bo.

Angela Saini is an award-winning journalist and author of several books. Saini teaches scientific writing at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, presents radio and television programs, and has published works in The Financial Times, National Geographic, The Guardian,Economist, and Science.
In 2015, Saini received the American Association for the Advancement of Science Kavli Science Journalism award. Saini identifies and denies gender preconceptions in the scientific world by challenging and rewriting the role of women in the history of evolution.

On stereotypes in science, dialogues the British journalist with Elisabetta Tola, editor-in-chief of Il Bo Live, magazine of the University of Padua.
The meeting is opened by Gaya Spolverato, professor delegate for Equal Opportunity Policies at the University of Padua.
