Arqus and Discog together to beat cancer

On September 30, 2022, on the final day of the Arqus Research Focus Forum "Moving towards a new era in Cancer Research", Unipd professors Fabio Farinati, Francesco Paolo Russo, Anita De Rossi, Valentina Guarneri, and Stefano Indraccolo will give a short talk about "Arqus and Discog together to beat cancer" (Palazzo Bo, Padova - h.19). Participation is free of charge.

The presentation is part of the event "Science4All", a new event by the University of Padua that aims at communicating science in a simple and fun way (Padua, September 26-October 2).

Arqus is one of the 17 thematic consortia selected by the European Commission as part of the European "European Universities" programme and brings together universities with a strong interest in research and regional involvement. One of the global challenges identified by Arqus is cancer research: September 30 is the chosen date for the final meeting of the Arqus Research Focus Forum entitled "Moving towards a new era in Cancer Research". During the meeting, the researchers will try to involve the audience on issues concerning the new frontiers of cancer research, discussing the new achievements in diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
