Il Dipartimento di Matematica “Tullio Levi-Civita” si riunisce a Villa Bolasco per sostenere il Community Development

The ‘Tullio Levi-Civita’ Department of Mathematics meets at Villa Bolasco to support Community DevelopmentThe ‘Tullio Levi-Civita’ Department of Mathematics, with the aim of promoting good practice in Community Development, brought together a group of students, researchers, teaching staff and technical-administrative staff under the guidance of Dr. Elisa Gallo (development and training expert for Capgemini) to explore the theme of community as a multiplier of the development and training of the community in the field of science. Dr. Elisa Gallo (development and training expert for Capgemini) examined the theme of the community as a multiplier of ideas, energy, knowledge and time.

New working models embracing the economy of passion and commitment were examined.

The group also discussed future prospects and unanimously recognised that the community represents
- a tangible and virtual place to meet and create synergetic interaction
- an opportunity to transmit knowledge and a sense of co-responsibility
- an opportunity to foster continuous learning by involving all the actors in the Department.

Insegnare Chimica con Passione!

Teach Chemistry with Passion! is the new volume in the series Epistemology and Didactics of the Disciplines (scientific director Prof. Walter Panciera), in which the teaching experiences of some high school chemistry professors are collected. Of particular note is the project “MC4 - Molecules on the Computer: Calculations for Chemistry in the Classroom” funded by the University of Padua and carried out in collaboration with UniPD teachers. This volume also includes the contribution of Prof. Eric Scerri, an authoritative scientist in the field of the history, epistemology and didactics of chemistry.  Here to read the volume
