The Gender Equality Plan of the University of Padua 2025 - 2027 (GEP) is a strategic document that defines the University’s strategy to promote gender equality and equal opportunities within the institution. It has a three-year time frame and is structured around objectives and actions developed across the five priority areas for action defined by the European Commission, namely:

  1. work-life balance and organizational culture,
  2. gender balance in leadership positions and decision-making bodies,
  3. gender equality in recruitment and career progression,
  4. integration of the gender dimension into research and teaching programs,
  5. combating gender-based violence, including sexual harassment.

The GEP is integrated with the University’s planning and reporting tools, and in particular with the Gender Balance, which provides the data for the upstream context analysis and enables the reporting and evaluation of the downstream impact of the actions, with the CUG Positive Action Plan and with the HRS4R Action Plan, from which it adopts actions in the area of gender, with the University planning documents and with the University Budget, which take it into account in defining objectives and allocating resources.
