The University of Padua offers 50 scholarships to Afghan students
23.09.2021
Faced with the rapid deterioration of the political Afghanistan framework, the University of Padua has decided to promote the launch of a new line of funding for scholarships in support of international students with Afghan citizenship who are currently at risk due to the evolution of events. To this end, we intend to promote a project that provides for the establishment of 100 renewable scholarships valued at € 12,000 per year.
The University will independently finance 50 scholarships, while 25 scholarships will be funded by local private and public institutions and a further 25 scholarships from national public or private institutions. In this regard, the call specifies that the 50 scholarships covered with the University's resources will be funded based on priority, while the activation of the additional 50 scholarships is subject to the procurement of external funds.
