Anime verdi 2026: call for university volunteers

Versione italiana

11.03.2026

On Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th May, Padua will host the ninth edition of "Anime Verdi"" the Open Garden Festival. This event represents an extraordinary opportunity to enhance the landscape and the historical-environmental heritage of the city and is mainly aimed at young university students and students aged between 15 and 35. This year, once again, the festival is seeking university volunteers to support activities during the weekend.

More than 800 young people have already participated in previous editions, experiencing a unique blend of beauty, learning, and fun. Now, with the 2026 edition, the opportunity to join this exciting project is open again. Volunteers are assigned to one of the participating gardens, where they are responsible for ensuring the space is respected and checking that visitors are wearing the access wristbands.

The commitment includes a preparatory meeting on Tuesday 12th May at 5 PM and attendance during the entire two days of the festival (Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th May). Each garden has two or more volunteers who alternate between monitoring the entrances and the internal space, always ensuring a collaborative and friendly atmosphere.

Participating in the "Green Souls" festival is a way to dedicate time and energy to your city, in a context of learning and fun. Participants receive insurance coverage, festival materials, and an invitation to the final party. Aspiring volunteers can also take part in an exclusive mini-festival on Thursday 9th April, including visits to some gardens with the organising team. To submit your application, simply fill out the online form by Sunday 12th April 2026.
