10.02.2026
On March 5th, in the university hospital classrooms, the first session of the first aid courses will commence, aimed at university students of all courses at the University. Several dates are scheduled for this educational offering, which ends on November 19th.
The "BLS First Aid Course" teaches essential basics for providing help at the scene of an incident, emphasizing the importance of early action in situations where waiting for help could be fatal. Techniques are taught simply and practically, accessible to all participants.
Simultaneously, the "BLSD Course for the Use of Automated External Defibrillator (AED)" provides specific skills to recognize and manage emergency situations, applying cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques and using the defibrillator.
Both courses aim to train individuals capable of effectively responding to emergencies, creating a healthier and safer university community. Upon completing the training, participants will be able to assess emergency scenarios, identify warning signs, and intervene promptly. These initiatives not only save lives but also promote a culture of awareness and responsibility with a long-term positive impact.
