The Walls of Mathematics by Orion for the Super Walls Street Art Biennale 2025

Italian version

06.06.2025

Once again this year, we have partnered with Super Walls, the street art biennale that brings color to the city of Padua and its province with 33 murals by 29 artists from around the world (view the map of the artworks here). Curated by gallery owner and CD Studio d’Arte founder Carlo Silvestrin, alongside art critic Dominique Stella, Super Walls 2025 is themed “The Dream”—an invitation to artists to explore and express, on walls, the emotions, visions, and aspirations that accompany humanity in its daily search for meaning, beauty, and the future.

At the Torre Archimede, the University of Padua welcomed the artist Orion, who has revitalized the walls of the Department of Mathematics, bringing them to life with color, motion, and depth. His lettering weaves geometric sticks together, creating new forms and even redefining the perception of the building’s structure.

In past editions, the University of Padua has already opened several of its walls to Biennale street artists:

  • Peeta worked on the walls of classroom P300, a teaching space at the School of Engineering on Via Luzzatti 10, Padua.
  • The Agripolis Campus hosted artist Yama, who created “The Study of the Arts”, a mural inspired by the halls of Palazzo Bo<.
  • Unipd Botanical Garden was honored by artist <,
  • And in 2021, Peeta again transformed the Department of Economics< building on Via Ugo Bassi with his anamorphic painting style, visually reshaping the volumes of the surface through illusion (see photo below).
