Applications are open to participate in the National University Championships - CNU 2024. Promoted by the Italian Federation of University Sports (FederCUSI) and organized in collaboration with university sports centers (CUS) and national sports federations (FSN), the CNU represents the most important university sporting event in Italy.

The winter CNU took place in Bardonecchia (TO) in January of 2024, the spring CNU will be held in Campobasso from 18 to 26 May 2024.

The CNU 2024 list of individual sport disciplines include athletics, canoeing, rowing, wrestling, judo, karate, fencing, alpine skiing, taekwondo, tennis, table tennis, shooting, and clay pigeon shooting, while team sport disciplines include football, five-a-side football, basketball, volleyball, and rugby sevens.

Student athletes interested in competing on behalf of Unipd, by sporting a CUS Padova team shirt at the CNU 2024, are invited to fill out an online form.

Participating students must have been born between 1 January 1996 and 31 December 2006, and be currently enrolled in a course of study (bachelor's degree, master's degree, single-cycle master's degree, specialization diploma, research doctorate, master's degree, or II level), or will obtain a degree in the calendar year 2024 to compete. Erasmus students are not eligible to participate.
