XIX International Workshop on Neutrino Telescopes

15.02.2021

The Neutrino Telescopes Workshop dates back to 1988 when Prof. Milla Baldo Ceolin conceived it and launched the first edition.

The 2021 edition, from Febraury 18 to 26, is organized by INFN Sezione di Padova and by the Physics and Astronomy Department of Padova University. This edition will focus to the original, at the time pioneering, topics of the workshop: Large Detectors for Neutrino Astrophysics, Neutrino Physics and Cosmology.

Due to Covid19 - Sars-Cov-2 circumstances, it will be held online through the ZOOM platform. In order to participate remotely to the Conference, registration is mandatory (deadline February 17) , through the registration form. Only registered people are allowed to attend the Conference.

The conference will thus be articulated in three different presentation formats: Plenary, highlights, by invitation only, three Parallel Sessions, Flash Talks SessionA special attention is given to young people, to whom it is reserving an exclusive space and format (flash talks) to be able to expose themselves alongside the contributions of scientists with consolidated experience. This innovative choice was rewarded by the participation of three Nobel Prize Winners of Physics, Sheldon Glashow, Carlo Rubbia and Barry Barish, who will speak on the opening day.
