Weather alert. Suspension of educational activities at university sites in Vicenza, Schio, Conegliano, Feltre

On Friday, November 3, 2023, scheduled educational activities at the university campuses in Vicenza, Schio, Conegliano and Feltre are suspended due to the weather alert.

A criticality warning was issued by the Centro funzionale decentrato of the Veneto Region, which confirmed the state of alert for hydrogeological criticality over the Vene-B (Upper Brenta - Bacchiglione - Alpone) warning zone, from 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, to midnight Saturday, Nov. 4, 2023.

The Province of Vicenza's prefect has ordered the closure of educational institutions, both public and private, of all grades and levels, insisting on the territories of the municipalities in the Province of Vicenza that are part of the VE-NE-B warning zone and the university campuses located in the Municipality of Vicenza today, Friday November 3, 2023; the prefect of the Province of Treviso has also ordered the closure of schools of all grades and levels for this Friday.
