We’re taking part in the Giretto d’Italia 2025
10.09.2025
As part of the European Sustainable Mobility Week, an initiative held every year to encourage everyone to promote sustainable transport measures – and which also involves the Municipality of Padua – the University of Padua has chosen to contribute by joining “Il Giretto d’Italia.”
This is a competition between cities aimed at promoting commuting to work and/or school by bike or through other forms of electric micro-mobility (e-scooters, monowheels, e-bikes, electric mopeds, hoverboards, segways). To participate, simply head to the university by passing through one of the checkpoints during the monitoring hours. The winning city will be the one that records the highest number of sustainable trips – i.e., passages through checkpoints – during the monitoring period.
“Il Giretto d’Italia 2025” will take place between 7:00 and 10:00 a.m. on 18 September 2025. The passages of those choosing sustainable means of transport to reach the university will be counted.
