To Bianca Bonato, Voices of Science, Voices of Women 2026 award

Bianca Bonato, a researcher at the Department of General Psychology at the University of Padua, involved in the ROOMors, project, has been awarded the "Voices of Science, Voices of Women 2026" recognition, conferred by Radio Parlamentare – Percorso Consapevole and the Parliamentary Intergroup for Knowledge and Scientific Research.
The award, given on the occasion of International Women's Day, aims to highlight the scientific and cultural contribution of female scholars who, through their research, promote the advancement of knowledge and the civil growth of society. The recognition is not configured as a lifetime achievement award, but as a testament to the value of the awardees' scientific journey and the public significance of their commitment to the academic community and society.
The award ceremony will take place on March 25, 2026, at the Spadolini Hall of the Ministry of Culture in Rome, in the presence of institutional representatives. On this occasion, Bianca Bonato will give a speech particularly addressed to female students and young women, sharing her scientific and professional experience and offering testimony on the role of women in contemporary science.
