28.03.2024

The 2023/2024 academic calendar follows closures during the Easter holidays from Friday March 29 to Tuesday April 2 2024 with University administration offices closed on Easter Monday, 1 April.

Thanks to initiatives and guided tours during the first few days of this holiday, the University of Padua opens its doors for the public to enjoy many of its most beautiful sites.

From 10am to 7pm on Easter Sunday March 31 and Monday April 1, the gates of the Botanical Garden of the University of Padua welcomes visitors to enjoy the greenery in this fascinating UNESCO site as the oldest university scientific garden in the world founded in 1545.

Located in the heart of Castelfranco Veneto, the nineteenth-century complex of Villa Parco Bolasco, opens its door Saturdays, Sundays as well as public holidays, including Easter. With over eight hectares of greenery, thousands of trees and a rich array of fauna, the site houses a large area with a lake and two islands fed by the waters of the Avenale stream surrounding the villa. The garden and villa includes a horse stables, a Moorish style greenhouse, two dovecote towers, and an enclave for storing boats.
