Unipd hosts eight of the most highly cited researchers

Demonstrated by their production of highly cited papers and recognized as true pioneers in their field of study, they rank among the top 1% of researchers in the world according to the Web of Science. These are excellent results for the University of Padua, which hosts eight researchers on the list of Highly Cited Researchers (HCR) published by Clarivate Analytics. Based on the number of researchers and HCR researchers, the University of Padua places first among Italian universities.

The list of researchers includes Maurizio Corbetta and Marco Solmi (both of the Department of Neuroscience - DNS), Michelangelo Cordenonsi, Sirio Dupont, Stefano Piccolo (from the Department of Molecular Medicine - DMM), Antonella Muraro (Adjunct Professor of the School of Medicine and Surgery - DIMED Department of Medicine), Marco Sandri (Department of Biomedical Sciences - DSB), and Luca Scorrano (Department of Biology- DiBio).
