The Three-Minute Thesis Competition

In collaboration with the Italian Committee for the Investigation of Claims of the Pseudosciences – CICAP, the Three Minute Thesis Competition (3MT) will take place on Wednesday 20 March at the Botanical Garden of the University of Padua.

Promoted by the Coimbra Group, of which the University of Padua participates, 3MT is an academic competition that challenges PhD students to describe their research in English in less than three minutes alongside a single slide projection that demonstrates their effective communication skills to a wide audience.

Three finalists will be selected to participate in the annual Coimbra Group meeting at the University of Turku, Finland on 6 June 2024.

The thesis completion begins with a talk by Stefano Bagnasco and Luca Tambolo on C'è chi dice no? Un laboratorio su negazionismo e consenso scientifico.
