A Study Room Dedicated to Giulia Cecchettin

To Remember, and for a Future Without Violence
The Department of Information Engineering (DEI) at the University of Padua dedicates a study room to Giulia Cecchettin, a brilliant biomedical engineering student and victim of femicide.
The room was inaugurated on December 16, in the presence of the rector, Daniela Mapelli, the authorities, the director of DEI, Gaudenzio Meneghesso, and Giulia's father, Gino Cecchettin.
The inauguration ceremony was preceded by the awarding of 6 scholarships to female students, established in memory of Giulia Cecchettin by the Department, and 2 scholarships granted by the association Riviera Donna to two DEI students.
In addition to the rector and the Department director, the ceremony was attended by the City of Padua councilor, Margherita Colonnello, the president of the School of Engineering, Andrea Gerosa, and the president of Riviera Donna, Chiara Boscaro.
