Shanghai Ranking - Global Ranking of Academic Subjects: Unipd among the world’s best in four subjects

Today, 27 October, the Shanghai Ranking agency announced the results of their annual Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS). The results place the University of Padua among the top 50 universities in the world under 4 specific subjects, Veterinary Sciences (27th in the world, up 8 positions compared to last year), Agricultural Sciences (31st with marked improvement of 13 positions), Water Resources (36th), and Physics (42nd).

Padua confirms itself as the best university in Italy within the academic subjects of Earth Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Biological Sciences, Medical Technology, Education, and Psychology.

The University of Padua also reached among the top 100 universities in the world for Mechanical Engineering, Automation & Control, and Medical Technology.
