Risvegli, the Flower Festival

The Botanical Garden of the University of Padua offers the new edition of Risvegli, the festival dedicated to science and culture which this year focuses on one of the most surprising phenomena of Nature, the flower.
Flowers take visitors on a multi-sensorial journey between shape, colour, and scent. With no lack of reflection on the most pressing issues of current affairs, flowers help us define the fragile relationship humankind has with nature, climate change, and our responsibility to care for our planet.
A special event on April 25 begins with a floral experience as guides from the Botanical Garden accompany visitors on a discovery of spring blooms followed by a special floral-themed tasting menu in collaboration with master pastry chef Luigi Biasetto. The event is included in the entrance ticket by reservation only.
Until April 28 at the Botanical garden, a rich program of scientific dissemination and artistic entertainment continues across four days of performances, meetings, exhibitions, guided tours, and workshops for audiences of all ages.
