Rector Mapelli: dramatic and uncertain hours, once again, force replaces reason

“Once again, the indiscriminate use of force has replaced reason,” states University of Padua Rector Daniela Mapelli. 

“The solidarity of the entire academic community extends to the eighty-six Ukrainian students who attend our University”.

In these dramatic and uncertain hours, we stand with them, as we imagine each moment must hold great concern.
Actions will soon return freedom and peaceas soon as possible, confirms the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen and the President of the European Council Charles Michel, in response to the'illegal acts that violate international law.
