QS, whose website is visited by around 30 million students looking for information to guide their future. The site maintains a strong impact in providing knowledge and comparison tools based on research, teaching, innovation, and impact on society. In this edition of the QS World University Ranking, 5638 universities from 106 countries were analyzed, 48% more institutions than in the previous edition. The University of Padua improved its score in several indicators: academic reputation (4 points, 129th place), corporate reputation (77 points, 351st place), and employer outcome (30 points, 590th place). These indicators reflect the evaluations expressed by the academic and business world, which highlight institutions with excellent quality of research, especially at the frontier, and those that provide solid training to students, capable of bringing development and innovation to the global workplace.

The results of the QS WUR also positively reflect the progressive increase in international students enrolled at the University of Padua, now representing 10% of the student population. This result is thanks to the wide range of training offered in targeted languages, the numerous international agreements stipulated by the University, and its rich network of scientific and cultural collaborations. Oscillations, which have already occurred in the past, are present on bibliometric indicators and sustainability.

“This year's results of the QS World University Ranking – comments Mara Thiene, delegate for Joint Degrees and International Ranking – reflect the reputation that our University enjoys in the academic and business community. The constant growth in the two reputational indices of the QS WUR (Academic Reputation and Employer Reputation) is a recognition of our commitment to maintaining a high level of excellence in both research and teaching. We are incredibly proud of our ability to transmit knowledge to society. We actively collaborate with businesses, institutions, and organizations to ensure that our graduates are prepared to provide their skills to the needs of professional contexts. The reputation of our University not only favors research and academic and student exchanges, as we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Erasmus Program, but it also increases the employability of our students and contributes to economic and social development in Padua and beyond."

For transparency, the University of Padua continues to communicate its results and promote data literacy through a dedicated section of its institutional website: www.unipd.en/ranking.
